Status: offline 		I too am hoping to get a Santa Barbra to race with the SFMYC.  Not been able to find a used one.  Looking to order one from the guy in Ventura.  He wants 1800 dollars for a complete boat.  I am going to order a boat with deck, keel and rudder complete as I have a complete rig and I wish to customize the controls to have backstay, and main and jib trim controls.  Ryan

they have obtained the old Hartman hull molds.
I don't know if either of these sources are considered
legal class hull builders or not.

you could also try and contact the guys in San Diego and
see if anyone there has a used S/B for sale....

Status: offline 		Hi to all, if you guys can wait  a little bit, there will be a new S/B hull manufacturer,   Scott Todd of Blue Crab Model Yachts, Cambridge, MD    http://www.ec12.org/Resources/Images/BCY%202008%20PRICE%20LIST.pdf   Scott contacted me a couple of week ago to see if I had a new unbuilt Hartman hull witch I did and if we could make a deal so he could make a mold, we made the deal and I shipped my hull Monday to him, not sure of the time line from receiving the hull and getting the first one out of the mold, so if you are interested give him a shout and get on the list, I know of 2 on the list already

Status: offline 		Santa Barbara OD is for sale on E-bay for $500.00. It is a Vortex still in the shipping box never sailed. The seller lives in Monterey, CA and does not want to ship it, but will meet in South SF Bay region for a buyer.

Status: offline 		I tried to get the one on Ebay, but I screwed up the auction and someone else got it.  Very bummed.  I wanted a new boat, but I am unable to afford one.  Hopefully I will find a good used boat with the ocean racer style deck.  Anybody know who won the auction for the Vortex boat on Ebay?  Ryan
