I was browsing through Hard core racings" http://www.racinghardcore.com/los-xxxnt.htm " site a while ago and found that they have a titanium chassis plate for the XXX-NT,and I was wondering if this upgrade would be a good idea or not concidering that I dont know if its ROAR or Race legal... If anyone knows anything about this Id appreciate the help.... JOSH

i dont see why it wouldnt be legal. i wouldnt waste my money if i was you. it will just make it heavier. unless your bending the stock chassis dont do it.

Well thanks for the advice.... But I always thought that titanium was lighter than hardened aluminum, and the titanium pan also has a larger port for a starter box that lightens it up aswell....But Im not for sure just looking for some opinions....

You can go to the roar racing website and download the rules. I think it's legal and I think it's lighter and I believe the weight limit is 60 ounces on 1/10 off road trucks.

Hrmm dont know where you learned that, ericheller, but Titanium is lighter than aluminum. The reason it costs so much is that its very hard to machine. You arent paying for the cost of the material, its just its so ahrd to cut and grind it that they have to sell it for high to pay for the labor. It would be nice but I wouldnt do it, you can spend that money on stuff that will increase performance or durability more....never heard of a beant XXX-NT chassis. Have seen a few RC10GTs Taco'd like that though. Shock towers and turn buckles would be better to spend that money on.
