Another 4 flights on mine today in perfect Australian weather, (5 knots , clear blue sky, plus 20 c) . It just gets better with almost unlimited vertical (Wren 44 Gold Plus), immaculate starts now that I have turned the gas down a little and really excellent slow flight. The Spektrum, too, performed perfectly, one flight had less than 7 antenna fades on ALL receivers, just brilliant ! 9 minute flights all on less than 1 liter of fuel, impressed all who saw her !

Regards, David Gladwin.

Anyone got a set of Jet A1 main legs that are now redundant??

After a recent arrival, I snapped the main leg pin, and cannot remove it. I then managed to knacker the leg trying to remove it.
So if youre in possession of a pair of mains you would like to sell, please let me know

And if you are using these legs, i think i saw a post earlier on this thread, suggesting using piano wire, or acquiring titanium rod to use instead. After a frustrating afternoon, id suggest heeding that advice.

If Digitech are reading this, Id appreciate if you can get in touch if you have spare upper parts of the mains available.

i guess i''m the only one having difficulties then...

tape won't work..glue..well no..

only air can do it...
and is a little bit complicated..

i guess a cutter will work..with the bag..

I retract the gear before i take the wing off.
A small wood wedge is used between the wheel tyre and the wheel well.
It locks them up.
The nose wheel is locked up with a thin piece of ply (3mm thick) placed across the opening, beween the body and the leg.
It holds them up till next time...

I'm hoping for a quick reply! I have the spring air retract valve that's but it leaks air from the top, is there a way to repair this? I've tried to adjust the valve at any position but only when the valve is pointed in the direction where the retracts are down does it not leak! It is in the correct position so that's out of the sugestion!
thanks

Another question or question 2!
I also have a single action jet valve but i can't figure out how to make it work with the retracts so i went back to the spring air retract. My second question, how does it work when there is an intake and pass on take but when i connect it like i connect the breaks the the switch is one direction it retracts but when i switch it in the other direction it releases the air momentary but it will not release the retracts until all the air is unloaded from the tank? If i can get answers to both question i would greatly appriciate it!!!
thanks a ton guys! I haven't been able to get it in the air yet!!! I can't tell you how i wished someone would have posted if you use the 7channel radio like the spektrum and if you are using springair retracts that it will take you several days and more to get the damn thing to work!!!!

Question 1
Need more info, but may be related to question 2.

Question 2

You have the valve connected backwards.

The valve has a position that puts air into the retracts, when it switches to ‘gear down’ it locks of the air from the tank, and vents the air from the retracts.

Try reversing the air lines to the valve.

I have reported in the thread, flying with FASST system, no problems, works perfectly.

Paul
