Big Red: You'll have a lot more fun in the hobby if you learn to do your own maintenance. These cars are simple enough that you can fix pretty much any problem you have by yourself. You just have to learn how to troubleshoot to figure out the problem. When you run the truck, does the clutch bell spin? If no then your clutch is the likely culprit. Set the truck (not running) on the ground and rotate the spur gear, is the topshaft going into the tranny spinning? If no, then your slipper is the likely problem. Do the diff outdrives both spin? If neither, then it's probably in the tranny somewhere. If one spins, then check the cv joint and axle on that side. If it's in the tranny, i would suspect either the idler or the diff. These aren't too hard to pull apart and put back together. Keep your manuals handy. If you're going to open up your diff, be aware that there's a bunch of bearings inside that may come out. Get some black grease for the thrust bearing and Stealth diff lube (both by associated) for when you put it back together. Good luck.
