It could be the glowplug and the way to check is to take it out and check that ot become bright orange. It could be your batteries in your glowplug igniter to and or your running it to rich so check those things out

hey everyone! i purshcased my nitro evader st about 3 years ago!!!!! i tried breaking it in and lost compression. i sent the motor back and got a new one. ran for like 5-6 tanks then lost compression again!! i called them back up and told them what happened they said i could send them the motor or they could send me the parts. i said just send me the parts and i will rebuild it myself. i rebuilt the engine and it did not want to start after that. i then put it on the shelf for about 3 years. now i want to run it. i finally found out why it did not want to start. the fuel was not going from the tank to the carb. so i talked to a friend of mine who use to run nitro cars. we took the engine back apart and sure enough i f****** up! i put the sleeve in right but i did not put the piston in right so we changed that and finally got the motor running . however after reading through this forum i dont want to bother with the dtx .18 motor. i am ordering a os cvrx .18 from tower. just wondering what you guys think of this motor. i dont race and i dont bash real hard. i just ride in empty parking lots and drive ways. i dont really jump not yet anyways. thanks in advance!!

this is the old forum dude, there a nitro evader V2 thread now. But to answer your question, did u break the DTX18 in before u ran the 6 to 8 tanks through it? I got about 4 gals out of mine before it died. And with the OS18 u will need a alloy diff gear as the torque the OS18 puts out will shred the plastic ones to bits

The OS 18 rocks. I highly recommend it since I just did the swap also. However, since the head of the OS engine is so large, you may want to consider changing out the exhaust manifold with an OS one or you can maybe bend the old one a bit to clear the head. Also, A little body trimming will be required so the head doesn't rub and melt the body.

come to the vader V2 thread mate, and yes, any ST body will fit, but they will need some modding etc to fit, i know the bodies for the XXXNT will fit directly, remember with all clear bodies u have to drill your body post holes.

The proline crowd pleazer for the XXXNT is a great body, make sure its the NT version not the T version, the T is for the electric

Ok, First what you do is find a socket that fits the tire you are taking off, the when the bolt comes off gently pull the tire from the axle, you will see a pin in the axle. Its Easy!!!.Next, when you want to put it back on, make sur to line the + grove in the center of tire to the | grove in the axle shaft.Like i said before. ITS EASY!!
