I'm just a little miffed with my evader. It's had more downtime then it has uptime, at this point. I took a jump, did a cartwheel (Low speed and impact. Pretty weak) and snapped the rear shock tower in HALF. Sigh, yet another part to order.. I can't wait for the Aluminum ones to come out later this month.

I think that might be more to do with the cold then anything. I break more plastic in the cold than any other times. But for $3.99 you'll be back in the game . Mine flipped over backwards and busted the rear shock tower into five pieces. But then again it was 10 degrees out

I am lucky to have a "HOBBYTOWN USA"shameless plug , 1/2 hour away and they have a great stock of duratrax part's.

Lucky you. My town is pretty much biased twords, Traxxas, Kyosho and to a lesser extent HPI. Most shops do carry DuraTrax vehicles but are really slim on replacement parts... Fortunatly Tower's Parts Express feature + priority mail are pretty swift. I ordered some parts on sunday and had them by wednsday.... now if the rain will just begone!

Heres a tip from DuraTrax... http://www.duratrax.com/faq/product-faq.html#q596 Basically they suggest boiling the nylon parts in water before runnign in cold weather.

Must be the cold, I took mine to the local track for the first time (for me and the truck!). I had a ball but I can't drive for beans! I must have flipped it end over end 10 times trying to do a simple jump but no breakage. I did pop loose the front camber link but it snapped back on. I live in sunny South Florida BTW. Gaot a nice tan while on the track.

Here is you answer motorpsyko about the steering servo...Here is the steering servo that i think ill be going with for my evader, ALL METAL GEARS, 107oz/in of torque big improvement over the stock one!

also i really like this air filter assembly, and if you have a ton of blue under the hood (i do!) it would be much cooler looking then the ugly yellow one. I think it will fit our evader with little or no modification

you should be able to find them here.

hey plan, make sure to let us know how those upgrades go! I am interested in the air filter, it would go well with the chassis....

It was either here or Wildhobbies, but someone clocked their stock Evader ST at 51mph.

I am having trouble with my clutch spring. I have broken two of them and you can't just buy the spring from tower, you have to buy the shoes too. I need to know which spring from another clutch will fit and work right or which aftermarket clutch would work. I would like to use a steel clutch bell but I don't know what to get to make it work. If anyone has replaced their clutch please tell me what I need to get.

I've taken my clutch apart out of curiosity a few times. How exactly is the clutch spring giving you trouble?

They are just breaking and then the clutch is pulling all the time. I guess I will just order a new one again and see how long it will last. I would like to get one that I could use a steel clutch bell on but I don't know what to get. This is my first expeirnce with a nitro truck and I don't quite understand it all yet. It's a lot differant than airplanes.
