Finally got some of our video converted to WMV files so here is one of them. Just some afternoon fun at the grass strip in the F-1 Rocket. The second video is some shots of the T-6 and Stearman that I have the opportunity to play with on occasion. It is a longer video, but I hope you enjoy it.

had a ppl for 20 years now, hadn't done any flying for 10 years before i started converting to an ultralight this year. don't like it much and i think i'll stick to rc. private flying's not very safe in Japan due to there being nowhere to build airfields and no place to make emergency landings, unless you like landing on tall trees on hills or tiny rice fields, both of which aren't very desirable. favourite plane, the piper cub and slingsby for aerobatics.

HI Guys,

I've been involved in Full Scale all my life as my father is a A&P as well as a I.A.
Grew up as a Airport Brat. Started flying at 14 in Sail Planes, Soloed at 16. Started
flying powered at that point. Bailed on full scale a few years later due to the cost.
Decided to follow in dads foot steps and got my A&P in 81'. My dad started me out
with Control Line models when I was 9 and still flying at 47, of course I've moved to RC.
Just getting back into RC after a hiatus due to job loss after 9/11 and budget
cutting. The Airline Industry really is hurting these days.

I'm really glad to see so many full scale aviators out there in the RC world. It's great
to fly with someone who knows what a traffic pattern is!!!!

Remember: Take-off's are optional - Landing's are manditory !

My dad started me flying when I was 13 in the 182. Now I enjoy some real backwoods flying, like going where no plane should! I am starting my new project building the CH 701. I have been in aviation all my life. My grandfather retired from Vickers, my other grandfather retired from Lockheed and my dad was just promoted to running the MMA project at Smith Aerospace. With these connections I have been around intimately with almost every military aircraft made.

Lessee, started in R/C back in high school, and then in the mid 90s flew a GP ugly stick for a long while. Then switched to helis, which I flew for a year or two. Then in 98 switched to full scale fixed wing, regrettably couldn't afford to do both so have been doing full scale since then.

Oddly enough, my first gasser was a Rotax 503, and I still fly that model of motor, attached is a picture of my current gasser. Ultralight/light aircraft are my area of interest for full scale, helis and fixed wing are my R/C interests.

am wanting to get back into R/C, probably will get a fixed wing and maybe eventually another heli...
