A couple good servos and a 5 cell pack would be spending your money wisely
I usually run Hitec 5625s ($50)on my MST-1 with a 6volt pack.($20)
You don't need a very expensive charger to charge the Rx pack, I use a Hitec 335($70 or so) feild charger for my Tx/Rx batteries.
You could probably get 1 good servo a battery and a decent charger for your $150

Don't for get to bring spares,a-arms etc., I hear Stadium trucks break sometimes

Johnston2007,
If you are planing on Racing any regonal or ROAR events you will need a .12 engine
Most weekend club race directors don't care (it's all for fun), but at the "Big" races it will matter.

I love the Mugen MT12,
There I go again, recomending my favorite engine again at about $130-$140 it's the best engine for the money IMHO.

If money is tight and you want a good engine for under $100
Tower hobbies is selling the OS CV.12 (not the cv-r) for $74.99, that's a good engine for as cheap as you'll find.

I don't have an engine for sale right now, If I did it would be on ebay, where all the unwanted toys end up
