next time your in the car, switch from am to fm on your radio. fm is just stronger more reliable. am is prone to glitching when many channels ar ebeing used(like at a race).

    Snowboarder69,

Then there is that little matter of the 4-wire stock servo, which I changed out with an airplane servo and a little Dremel action when I converted my Mini-T to FM.

If it were, I might have bought one. Instead I purchased a different brand yesterday.

If you are switching to FM you could always use a HS-55 servo and not have to deal with the dremel action (needed for HS-81 servos). I use the 55 on my T and it is a huge improvement over the stock POS servo.

I didn't use either one of those servos. I went with a metal geared HiTec HS-5125MG.

What is a good, inexpensive electronic speed controler with reverse? I don't race much, even then it is with friends, nothing serious.

What can I say, I have the GT7 in mine and it doesn't even have reverse. That's why I use to Overland to chase the cat instead of the Mini-T.

Edit: By the way, the "Street" price was lower than the "list" price when I purchased my GT7, so the Spy may be lower.

I just got my mini t the other day and I love this little thing. I bought it used and it has the bearings and the speed 300 motor with a 7 cell blindbatts battery-IT FLIES!! Here is my tip- I bought the green/white body for it and I couldn't get the spoiler to stay on with the two sided tape so I used ca glue on it. If you do this be sure to remove the paint off the spoiler before you glue it on. Just mark the part that goes to the body and scratch the paint off! I hope this helps.
