    In my DTX Ball diffs for my Detta I left the T-nut thing in there with the silver nut being held by the T-nut thing. I should get my Ball Diff in a day or two so I'll post some pictures if you still need them.

    shims for what, the losi cvds sit on the edge of the outdrive cup, I tried bringing in the cambers but nothing, I sized the losi cvds up to the losi stock dogbones and they are alot shorter

    ok, i just got my mini t on friday, and i'm already interested in going brushless. i got through the first 10 pages of this thread, and noticed people saying that to go brushless you have to change out all the esc/servo/rx.... is this still true even on new ones? i've got the mini - baja RTR, and it lists everything as being 3 wire for ease of upgrading...

    so do i still need to get all new stuff just to go brushless? i'd just hate to spend 2/3 the cost of the car on a brushless system, just to spend another 2/3 the cost for esc/servo/rx... that would put me close to $4-500 for a mildly modified car, and i dont even race, this is just my toy for when i sit home w/ the kids during the week.

    I believe you can reuse the esc and servo with the baja, but you need a brushless speed controller. A full mamba package motor + esc is $90 at b-p-p. The original mini-t had a propietary 4 wire servo, and a combined esc/receiver - so all had to be replaced on going brushless.

    http://www.b-p-p.com/
    products->1/18 scale->1/18 scale motors/controllers

    looks like they're up to $95 now. I'd suggest the 5400 or 6800.

    ok, cool. what you suggest for power as far as Ni-MH goes? i know too little about lipo, but what i do know is that they are pretty expensive and very dangerous.

    how would my stock 1100mah 7.2 pack do with one of those brushless setups?

    It wouldn't be that good. The Elite 1500 is the best Ni-Mh cell out now IMO. You should also consider A123 batteries. I fried my HS-55 servo and broke a c-hub trying to pop a turnbuckle off. (I Feel stupid)

    i have just got 12 of the elites and made up two 6 cell packs. They are good batts. The stock motor will soon blow with them though, way too hot.

    My stock motor also gets very hot with the 12T pinion on there. I'm getting a Reedy 17T soon and what would be good gearing to start out with. I'm going to use a DD slipper so I only have a 60T spur option.
