Such a pretty little plane Jeremy. You've done a superb job on it, which poses the question, is it a sin to lust afer another man's plane and want that plane to be his very own?

Thanks Tom!

Had an open evening to build and work in the shop (wife had to work), so I moved forward some more on the little Chipmunk.

I got the thing finish sanded and then I managed to get the wing covered. Heckuvalotta work covering that tiny little wing, but I am pretty pleased with the results. I will 'think' through the covering job on the fuse and tail in the car over the next couple of days.... and hopefully do it for real on Wednesday and Thursday night.....

Lookin' good! You must have crossed eyes after a detail session like that! BTW, is RCU generating all these popup ads I've been getting lately?

Great looking!!
It seems the covering is really bringing that little plane into it's own.

That looks fantastic, man!
...you must have top secret defence force, genetically engineered, trained mice engineers working on all the small detailing on the covering job...

Looks really great Jeremy! I guess I better tune up the old underhand launch ala .010 Skyhawk, eh?

Thanks a lot guys! You just can't beat red, white and blue for a covering scheme...... (especially when its scale)

Yup Milton, I am thinking this may need the 'SkyHawk Toss'. LOL. Hopefully with 30% more wingspan and 25% more wing area it should not be quite as crazy on launch as the little Skyhawk was at SMALL last year.

If it's even half the plane that the Skyhawk was/is, it will be great! And I can already tell it's gonna be a show stopper. As usual, it looks great! Can't wait to see it fly.

Thanks RRRagman!

Have not gotten any more covering done.... but I have really wanted to get the cowling painted so the paint could cure as long as possible before getting near nitro. Paint is Lustrecote to match the Monokote covering job. Did the white last night and the red when I got home from work. Finally managed to buy some proper paint masking tape for fine edges and what a difference it makes!

Hope ya'll like it.

Yes, lots of scratch building. You might say we have an itch.

Matchlessaero,
It is looking great! You build some of the cutest planes I've ever seen. You are a true master of miniaturization.
