Hi Everyone Thanks for your reply's! Reading through all of this i find that CafeenMan confirmed what i thought, that is using a Kite as the wing or chute, I am busy building a chassis made out of styrofoam, this design isn't a tech boffin's dream, it's plain and straight forward, and i am trying to keep it well balanced with most of the weight (Battery) underneath the chassis and also as uncomplicated as possible, Thanks for the tip on the Luther Hux plans, i will also try to search for it, ideas can broaden my options. Yes i am not an expert R/C Flier, I do have a 2m electric Glider, and after i've seen how much lift i can get out of a speed 600 can motor, and 2000 mah battery, i'm quite confident that it should power a paraglider, yes maybe too confident, but confident enough to go through with it. ) That is why i will need a reasonable size wing or chute to get the lift for it. I do believe that eventually i will get it up in the air, when is the quetsion. It should also be quite stable because of the weight. The reason i want this is, i want to build something i can take and fly anywhere, I need to drive 40km to the nearest club here, and they are only "legally" open from 14:00 to 18:00 on a Saturday only, And because i'm only starting out, i would obviously like to fly longer than all of the Saturday afternoon Veterans at my club, feeling that 4 hours a weekend is enough. Not for me, i need more stick time per weekend. I can fly my Glider at the Local Sports field, it is big enough, but what if a respectible r/c pilot switches their radio equipment on in the populated surrounding area, or what if someone is flying a helicopter in their backyard. I'll be flying but not enjoying it, having all this in the back of my head. I really enjoy flying my glider, nothing beats a real plane! Now i know some of you would say get a parkflyer, mostly everything electric and especially hobby products is imported here, and not on a mass scale, making it expensive. Even parkflyers. Otherwise i would've liked to get a parkflyer. The items i have is lying around catching dust, again they are heavy yes, but they should be put to work, and if i'm not going to try i'll never know. I have a local Kite shop near me, Buying a expensive Kite will still be less expensive by half or more than a parkflyer here. I'll feel better losing a Paraglider than losing my 2m Glider, because of interference at the local sports field. Sorry for taking so long to reply, i live in a 3rd world country, and our communications here is not as robust as in the states or anywhere else. CafeenMan, sorry, it is the same thread in 2 forums, i was not exactly sure where to put it. Thanks Pete
