I seen on the news that cummunity and private air ports are starting to catch He!! What will be next. They say there is no control of who flys in and out. I'll bet there is better control at most C&P field than at large air ports.

There are going to be people crying about that from now on. We are not going to ever stop it unless we controll our borders better. Now they introduce a bill to let mexicans come in and work legally. Why not let our unemployed americans take those jobs so the taxes stay in the US? You have to wonder about this country sometimes.

Same as nafta. We can not do work in Canada, or own companies up there, has to be a 51% canadian ownership, but they can work here and own here. Figure that one out.

They have a law up there when you fly that you have to file a flight plan, no matter what you are doing if you are in the air. They should do that here. Least the FAA would know what is in the air.

Now you can drive an 18 wheeler in and out of Mexico easier than crossing from Oklahoma into Kansas. In regards to uncontrolled airports, it seems more that the flight centers are getting overwelmed with the amount of controlled traffic already. How will they try to keep up if every flight has to be filed? Automation would work really well, except the FAA is still 29 years behind in computer automation in this area. I should be able to file a flightplan from my palm pilot.

There would be control if every plane by law must carry a transponder that cannot be shut off. Again, who's going to keep track of all those little blips popping in and out on the screen.

I think it is just another "let me look important" tactic by Homeland Security and the media. Like the attack against model rockets and model airplanes as instruments of terror, it should blow over.

I'm more worried that they are going to just make it harder for us to fly through pilot requirements. Background checks, medical requirements, and other red tape could really make it complicated to get in the air legally.

And since when do crimminals and terrorists do anything legally?

If you love that plane, set it free, if it doesn't return, you should've checked your battery.

No lie, and making it harder for american pilots will help a lot, when they don't do anything to change the non american pilots behavior.

Kind of a unique problem.
