Status: offline 		I am trying to decide what the best speed prop would be for a .58 four stroke. I will be putting it in a .40 sized ME-109. I was thinking of an 11-8 or 11-10, but wondered if anyone out there had any experience to pass on.

Status: offline 		It depends on the engines RPM capabilities. You do not want your engine to hit its RPM limit. The prop that gives you the best straight line speed will also depend on the percentage of nitro you are running. You will have to try several props to find the best one.

I am not familiar with any .58 four strokes. An APC 11 X 8 is probably a good place to start. Unless you are going to carve your own, you are limited to the props available. APC has a lot of prop sizes you will not find at your local hobby shop.

Status: offline 		Thanks for the info. The engine is an RCV .58. I will be using 15% nitro. I am just hopping to limit the number of props I have to buy just to see if they are any good. Once I have narrowed the field I can start trying out the props that I think will work the best.
