Flew my new U Can Do 60 size plane twice with my new radio. 5625 digital servos. Got several glitches each time. Scared! Elevator servos operate on Chanel 2 with Channel 7 slaved. 24 inch extensions on elevators and rudder servo leads. Might the extensions be causing the problem? How to cure if so?

Decided to try another receiver. Older JR FM. I changed frequency shift to "P" and changed the transmitter module to the receiver frequency. Nothing happens with this receiver. I haven't used the JR radio for some time but it was working OK last time I used it.

Glitches typically are not caused by an extention. What size is the wire?

Mike.

I don't know the size of the wire in the extension leads. I see your reply in another post they should be 22G or larger. These are JR extensions I had on hand. I presume JR would use the appropriate size wire. One of my extensions is a Y I had on hand. I'm only using one side of it for the extension. That leaves an unused wire running the length of the fuselage. Possible problem? If one of my servos was reversed I wouldn't need to slave it on channel 7, but could use the Y. Could I send the servo in to Hitec and have it reversed?

It's possible but unlikely. Yes, Hitec can reverse the servo for you at no charge. You could also have it reversed by anyone with the programmer. You might also try a finding a Hitec Gold Dealer in your area since most of them have a programmer to program their customers servos. http://www.hitecrcd.com/WTB/wheretobuy.html
