Can I charge 9.6V 800mAh NiMH battery with a standard wall charger that came with NiCad batteris?

Yes, it will just take a little longer (approx 30%)for full charge from a complete discharge.

And feel them during the charge if possible. Red can give you some of the specifics on overcharging those little jewels on a charger that doesn't detect a peak_bob
