Having tract lighting in the shop may be a reflection of your sexuality.

This is Exactly why this is RC Related .... See this page on the AMA Website, all about how light bulbs, and glow plugs have so much in common:

http://www.modelaircraft.org/templates/ama/501_12.asp

I particularly like the Religious one.... take that, Isaiah 40:31 !!!!!!!

Actually, I've started to use a fluorescent strip light as a glow plug. Long reach, you might say.

It's brighter, but is very difficult to stuff down that little hole, and it makes starting with a chicken stick a little more difficult.

OK admit it, this thread was started by subverts of Bill and Hillary Clinton in order to refocus attention from the Iowa caucuses and destroy the reputation of some of the candidates. I know this to be true, becasue it was sent to me in an e-mail from Howard Dean....
i will no stand for this any longer, I plan on reporting it to the appropriate authorities, whomever they may be....

Gus, is this where I'm supposed to quote Genesis 1:3 "And God said, 'Let there be light', and there was light."

But, naw...that would be too obvious!

Gotta love this thread.

This thread has become very religiously politically incorrect

Well.. I am in the lighting industy.. Specifically the live entertainment technology segment. I have never changed a "lightbulb". I replace lamps, actually I don't even do that anymore.. I tell other people to do it. The only photon generators I replace are the arc source type. Basically a welding arc in a glass enclosure. I did once refer to a lamp as a "bulb". The bald headed lighting tech quickly corrected me.

I can confedently say the correct term is "Lamp". A more specific term would be "arc lamp" or "indy lamp" depending on the type you are referring. Perhaps in the interior lighting design circles it may be "lamp" however it would still be incorrect.

The pertanant joke is: How many LDs (Lighting Designers) does it take to change a lightbulb? ITS A LAMP!

As we say in the live lighting industry, withought lights it just radio.

without light( )bulbs, you couldn't build your models, surf this or any site (where is the pc's power button), i forgot those stairs were there, that wasn't tooth paste was it? without them, network and internet servers couldn't be maintained, you couldn't see your models and many other things that i cant be bothered to type.

continuing in rcuniverses recent need to add endless numbers of forums inside each forum i think they should start a "Outragously Funny Forum" inside the humour forum for this thread. or otherwise start a new forum in the humor forum to acomodate each and every different type of troll.

And since it's out you might as well upgrade! Don't forget the most important thing. It all really about the fixture the light bulb goes into!
