Well, shoot. Apparently some are calculating the exact value of π, or working on proofs that 1=3 or maybe the rotational inertia needed to twist a lamp switch. Personally, I am more concerned with other uses for π. The statement I made above apparently has slipped by… that being “integral of e to the x power is equal to the function of u to the n power”. When that is reduced to mathematical nomenclature, it appears as: ∫eˆX=f(u)ⁿ ... the true value of calculus class.

It would seem that lamps have other usefulness than illumination, more directly related to the true value of π.

And you forgot about the guy that get's it to turn off in to left field, which eventually turns it in to some kinda thing where only a couple people can appreciate what's being said, and everyone else drifts off, thinking man, they ruined a perfectly good thread....

But there's always that one last guy, trying to get the last word in...

This thread is no exception-you forgot:

6 to hijack the thread and talk about whether they are getting together this weekend to change light bulbs or going to the light bulb convention.

OOOOooooooo another pic with errors.

The household lightbulb uses AC... therefore the Positive and negative markings are incrrect. We don't rectify the electricity going to the lightbulb.

Trying to be the idiot in the group I just had to draw a diagram... but it really sucked so I decided not to show it cause I don't know jack (beep) about light bulbs. Except this: Someone once said that lightbulbs are dark suckers. When they get full they get black. Only problem with that theory is that if you kept the light on the whole time, it will never burn out. Also I needed to be the last post here!
