Hi there. Does anyone know where any of these Sig Yak 18P kits can be located? I would've posted this in the Classifieds-Wanted, but RCU doesn't have this kit listed under Sig. I'm not even sure when this kit was produced. All I do know is, this has a 72" wingspan and the box looks similar to the boxes used in the 70's. If anyone knows where one of these kits can be located. Send me an e-mail: star@intermind.net. Thanks, Kurt.

Kurt, This kit was produced in the late 60s. It was one of the first kits of that era to feature scale detailing. It is still not that bad when compared to todats kits. It was last prouduced in the late 70s early 80s. I have one but I am going to modify mine into a CJ6 as I have a full scale CJ. Keep an eye out on Ebay and on the several classifieds out there as they do come up from time to time. Don

Hi, There is a guy selling Sig Yak 18 plans on ebay, item# 3170636679. He also has two Sig Yak kits in his collection. Said he might sell one but will have to get at least $350.00. Too much for me but you might could negotiate or trade?
I am scratch building the Sig Yak 18pm from plans. Mine is 75% finished and I hope to have it in the air this spring. I also plan to scratch build the 18p version in the future.

I'm building an 86.4" version (20%) larger than the org. I've designed the wing and fuse for both the P and PM versions. If you like I'll shoot you some pictures of the process so far. If you want to try one that size. Have a great day.

I have this kit right here. It was manufactured in 1966. It can be built as a 18p or 18pm. I might be willing to let it go for th right price. I was planning on building it before the yak 9. I guess i could skip it. Ill shot you an e-mail
