I took flight instruction from my Father and then soloed in this Cessna 150 in August of 1967 and by chance re-discovered 3018Juliet at St. Mary's Airport,where I located the owner and confirmed it was the 'same' 3018Juliet,in which I soled back in August 1967. The 150 (when I soloed it) was natural aluminum with dark red trim . I would never of recognized the Cessna in it's new paint if my brother hadn't noticed the registration number as it sat on St. Mary's flight line where he flys-
