The engine already has a couple gallons through it so this is final tuning. RB S7 running Odonnel 20% with no carb restrictors.

I let it warm up to maybe 190-200F just putting around and such. Then I gave it a few full throttle passes and checked again. Still at 200F, so I gave it an 1/8 turn in on the HSN gave it a few more high speed runs and rechecked. Now I redid this till I was at about 235F. There was a MASSIVE difference in the performance at 200F and 230F I mean just massive. It had a ton ogf smoke at 200 and I believe just a decent stream at 230F. This was all done indoors (large factory) at about 65F ambient temp. My question is, is there a chance that I am running lean when the temps never get above 240F, or can I assume I have it pretty well nailed? Also there is no smoke at idle, but when I richen the LSN my bottom end sucks bad. So I leaned it back to where it was. Now from a stop it takes off well but maybe 8 -10 feet out it goes berzerk and screams away like a freak. Sound right?

Sounds like you're pretty well dialed! Just to be sure on the LSN though, warm up the engine and make a few passes. Bring it back and pinch the fuel tubing just above where it attaches to the carb. If it just shuts off, it's LEAN, if the rpm's go way up (a few thousand rpm's), then your LSN is too rich. Ideally, when you pinch the tubing and hold it, the rpms should go up a few hundred rpms and then the engine should die. If you're in that ballpark, you're tuned pretty well.
