Im retiring my SE, im looking for a fast plane while it retains the following;

- it will hold the OS 46fx
- with retracts (preffered)
- jet like or warbird look (except for mustang i got it already)
- less than 5.7lbs

ANy one knows the kit that can do this?

(GP Patriot was the choice but discontinued)

The Direct Connection ARC F-20 would be a good choice for the airframe but it would not be particularly fast with the .46FX.

AeroD79,
Not scale, but how about the Weston UK Magnum. Not sure how you would get one, but it was reviewed in the March 2002 of the British mag, 'Aviation Modeller International'
Looks like a nice fit for the 46FX.
Has anyone seen or flown one of these??? Is there anyplace in the US to get one??
Also, if you really want a fast airframe for your 46FX, pick up any of the Quickie 500 kits, or ARF's. They aren't really that expensive or hard to fly, and are basically the least amount of airframe you can hand a 40 on!
Whatever you choose, have fun...speed is a hoot!!

Weston UK will post to US, the web site is www.westonuk.co.uk
the magnum wont accept retracts, its a hand job all the way theres just not enough room for them, will be a nice speed with a 46 ( they now come with tuned 50's ) theres 3 at our club, all super stable flyers and the quality of the ARFT is now pretty good.
all up weight is under 4lbs

Here is where you can buy the Magnum:
Modellbau-USA.com or by phone at 954-476-5572
I have the shrike 10 & 40, outlaw, and diamond dust but I think this one is going to be that one to beat.
