I just purchased a car which includes a brand new RB WS7II. The hobby shop is telling me to break it in with special break in fluid which has a higher oil content. I haven't done this to the previous 8 port or xxxnt engine and they seem to be running fine? Is it because this is a race engine a requires it?? Let me know if you guys use the break in fluid. Thanks

Status: offline 		Break in fluid?. Don't know about that but i used RB sray lube (like WD-40) to turn the engine over a few times. Then i just stuck in some fuel and fired it up.

Status: offline 		U dont need the lube me and my mate got the engine at the same time and he didnt use the RB spray lube.

Status: offline 		you don't need anythign special to break in that engine. I have several RB engines. Take a look at the forum for RB Engines at www.rbproducts.com for more info on RB Engine break in.
