Hi! I though mhz had a 'transmission' of sorts for a single input to dual output. Here is a link for a full-size w-drive: http://www.faulkerson-motorsports.com/Brochure%20Oct%202002.pdf
(PDF format brochure).

I want to build a single engine boat, with twin, counter-rotating props. As I mentioned, I thought MHZ-engines had one, but I can't find it on their site.

Anyone ever run across one of these? Know where I can get one?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Mike, MHZ is supposed to be working on one now. From what I have heard from others that are interested, MHZ is having problems with keeping everything cool enough to be reliable at the rpm's the high power engines turn--- 18 to 20,000+! Just look at thier other stuff, they wont make anything thats not going to last.

They are supposed to have a US website in operation soon. will research some and see if I can find the link.

Hi!

As far as I can tell the gearbox is not available yet (probably too much snow and ice to test in Germany at the moment), the german part of the site has pictures of it, but no further info, the english part does not even mention it....

www.mhz-engines.com

As most hobbies tend to get rather expensive, I would try and build one myself, running the gears in oil and cooling the oil with a heat exchanger. Yes, very timecomsuming, but sooo much fun when it runs properly......!

Greatings, Jan.
