I have a GWS corsair with the stock 350 motor. I have read that the CG should be set forward of the recommended value. What is the best CG point from the leading edge of the wing for STABLE flight. I just want the best chance of flying the thing around until I get used to it then I may try to change things since I am not that experienced and do not have access to skilled flyers to teach me. I would appreciate any input on this. Thank you.

You need to place this in the Electric Forum to get better response.
I've got the Zero and don't use the package 6 or 7 cell battery pack that comes with the GWS flight pack. I fly with an 8 cell pack of AAA 720Mahr NiMh and NO rudder. Keep as light as possible and the best power boost for ease of flying. The 6 and 7 cell nicads will give barely enough power for flight. If the Corsair is like the Zero with a bamboo chop stick under the wing, then the cg should be about 1/8 or 3/16" in front of the stick. Make sure the prop has the size stamping facing out -- too many pilots said "it won't fly" and they had the prop on backwards.
