I have a Landmax 2 (kyosho) 1/8.Does anyone know to tell me if I will see diferences by installing a Sirio engine or Novarossi etc.from the stock engine?
If I change the pipe and move the pull start will my engine perform better?

Thanks...

higher end racing engines compare to sport engines just like they do on full size cars. porting and polishing, timing, and materials are all adjusted for max performance. by replacing the stock engine with a race engine, you will notice a dramatic jump in performance.

If it is so big the diferences I guess that changing the pipe and moving the pull start I will not see many changes.
I have read to the www.teamtrinity.com for two sirio engines SP21BRPRO and SP21PRPRO the first is one is for off road and the second for on road. Why?
Novarossi hoes S421SB and BS21SB and there is a big diference to price.
So If you had to choose between sirio and novarossi what will you prefer?

Finally if I make all this changes and if you consider that I have already two gears to my car will I be able to run as fast as the racing cars 1/8 that has 21 engines?

Thanks for your time man....

doing the mods to your engine will not give you any major performance gains, although some minor improvment may occur. The diff between an on road engine and buggy engine is that the on road will have a much smaller heat sink head, and be setup for high RPM, low torque.

The Novarossi is quite a bit better than the Sirio. The sirio is lacking in the low rpm range.

i dont know what a landmax is - a buggy? if so, then no, it will not keep up with an 8th scale on road. to see an 8th scale on road, check my gallery, i have two of them.

Landmax 2 is like the inferno 7.5 but it has more street character. It's a Rally car.I guess that I should think for a second car 1/8 made for on road exclusive.
In this site you may learn what Landmax is

An 8th scale on road would be faster in 1st gear than the landmax in 2nd. Seems to be a cool car though.

LOL. Remember though, that an 8th scale on road is probably 4 times the cost of your landmax. I have over 2400USD invested in my Slide.

I do not know if they are selling this model in your country but here there selling the car about 600 euros with the engine but not the RC and as far as I know about the fantom 2003 is 800 euros. It is not so big diference.the upgrade kit's are making such big diference I think.

Hmm. even still, my investment is still 1950 Euro, so some noticable price difference. For that amount of money, yours seems to be quite a vehicle. You live in greenland? I have been to over 40 countries, but never there. Always wanted to go.

I have made a mistake. You see when I was signing in I choosed the country and Greece is under the Greenland so I didn't noticed and choosed the wrong country.
So if you have traveled to 40 countries I believe that you should have stopped to Greece because we have a nice place down here.
I saw your gallery and it was pretty cool. Why haven't you tried and some airplanes or helis?
