I have one flyable lol. One kit waiting to be built and one out of service.

TT Trainer 40

Sig Somethin Extra (flyable)

Morris Hobbies Topcap kit (building)

I don't necesarily want a lot of planes. I just want good flying/looking planes. I am particulary interested in gassers and pattern planes.

27 flyable. 3 gliders , 24 glow power. I must be nuts. I used to do this in a 2500 sqft basement. Now I do it in 1/3 of a 3 car garage.

5 ready to fly.

3 sitting in the rafters (having their engines and radios removed for other projects)

1 being built

2 NIB

And that's not counting the 19 that I left in NY when I moved here.

Ned, I hope so...it is interesting to see the variety of planes that everyone has, Originally I thought it would be just numbers but this is better, think I am going to add to the title....When are you going to host a G2 funfly again? I have been wanting to try that, but dont know if I connect fast enough.

My wife is really good about my airplanes. She always says there are a lot worse things I could be doing like haning out in the bars, or the strip joints. At least she knows where I am most of the time. It has been a great hobby so far.....and since I started flying turbines 3 years ago, the addiction is unbelievable! They don't make a couch big enough for this psychosis!

Mine is pretty good about my addiction too. She bought me my 9c. I told her that I want to add a dazzler, and a C-130 to the hangar and she said that was ok. Even says it is ok to eventually buy and fly turbines. These kind of women are rare!!

Mine went and spotted for me today while I flew my Bobcat. She does not go very often but likes to watch the jets fly, especially my Phantom.

Yes it is nice to have a Wife who will back you in this sickness, and mine is the same way. I just like to tease a bit, but she really is understanding, and supportive. She got a bonus at work and bought me the Phantom a couple of years ago, and she helps me pick the different color schemes as she says I stink when it comes to that part. We be lucky guys for sure!!!!

Hey Guys, Sounds like a few of you have your OTHER-HALVES WELL TRAINED!!! When my wife gets a little nosey in the shop and starts counting wings and boxes , I just walk her in the house. We walk over to her side of the closet and LOOK AT HER SHOE COLLECTION. Then we walk into our sons room and look at the other part of her shoe collection.THEN , we walk to our daughter's room , go to the closet and look at the THIRD part of wife's collection. After she calms down from my comment about Emelda Marcos , I lay it on the line:WINGS ARE FOR FLYING, SHOES ARE FOR WALKING-GO FOR A DAMN WALK CAUSE I'M ON MY WAY TO THE FLIGHT FIELD!!!!!!!!By the way, my collection: Global Lucky Stik-flying , Dura plane 40-BAH!!!(BEYOND ALL HOPE)Shrike10-Flying-fast, CBM A-10(pusher prop) -almost ready, CBM A-10 w/ (2) Kress Rk-720 fans/K&B 3.5's- Installing fans this summer, In boxes, Global Skyraider, Ak Models Mig-29 Fulcrum , G.P. F-15 , RCV U-2 spyplane w/ a.p.15 prop in nose&retracts, Morris hobbies Tomhawk propjet, Sig Kobra w/o.s..32&retracts. This summer my son (9 years old) wants to build and fly his first real plane together(already got about 50 flights on his Hitec Sky Scooter) When he said that , boy I tell ya , The feelings of emotion went way beyond description!!!!!I guess now I'll have to see which of my kits starts disappearing from my shop and start showing up on his work table. JEFF

+ a pile of unbuilt kits & ARFs

Only the WM P-51 is down for repairs right now. Busted up wing due to A Forced Landing in the bush after an engine flameout.

Nothing in the build queue - I just (re)finished the Ultra Stick.

Ohhh snap. There are planes listed above which I haven't flown since I moved down here.
