GP Sportster Bipe
Goldberg Cub on floats
GP P51
GP Giles 202

Hi Steve,
You don't need a 1.40 for the 120 WM Ultimate....especially not a YS 1.40 (holy POWER batman!!). I fly mine (pix in my gallery) with a YS.91 and it's got more than enough grunt....knife edge loops etc are easily done

AS a matter of fact, I am going to change over the videos to .wmv format very soon...maybe this week. I like .rm for the smaller file size, but too many people can't run it.

As far as the WM Ultimate, I need the power since I fly at over 4300' altitude...thinner air needs more power...and I'm greedy

Hi Guys:

As I look over this extremely long list of planes owned by all of you, I am taken by the fact that nearly all of the airplanes listed are built from kits, or at least are designed by some manufacturer. A lot of you would get a great deal of satisfaction if you would "build from your own design". I started scratch building about 40 years ago, and I find it extremely enjoyable. I have flown nothing since 1976 but gasoline powered aircraft, and just recently I sold all of my little 1/4 scale airplanes (eight of them), so that leaves me with the following - all of my own design:

All 1/3 scale: J-3 Cub, J-4E Cub, Aeronca Sedan, Ercoupe, and Bristol-Scout. These five planes have G-62 engines.

Also have a beautiful 30% scale Stinson SR-10, 13.5 ft. span, 45 #, powered by a Fox 5.8 engine that flies like a feather. After all, the main rib is only 5.5" tall x 28.5" long, and that provides a lot of lift.

I don't know about you, but even with six airplanes, that's more than enough.

Thanks for listening.

Not enough!

Currently I'm designing and scratching a Husky; kind of like a giant Kadet with large ailerons and flaps.
