From the wife's viewpoint ...

WAY TOO MANY !!!

Her common question "How many can you fly at one time"?

From my perspective ...
nobody can have that many planes

and still buying more ... hording them for something to build when I retire! (rough estimate 40 ... maybe even more ... in various stages from kits to flyable, gliders and power ... I have lost count ... maybe the wife is right! ... NOT!)

I don't count them, every time I do I lose one to one or more of the gods (gravity, tree, mechanical failure, flutter, ect.) I guess they get jealous! Ask my wife and she'll say "Too ____ many!" I like to rebuild some of the older planes and thing left in someones attic that got forgotten about.

Some ready to go:
Sig Extra 300 - ST2000
Sig LT40 - ASP 61
Slick Baby - YS 45
Sig Seniorita - OS 48fs
Giant Stinger - G62
Kangke Extra 300 - OS 91 fsr

Some under repair or to be built:
Tauras 1.20 Plus
Sig Cap 231ex - ST2500
Goldberg Ultimate (2)
Andrews Aeromaster (2)
Bipe Special (Aeromodelli)
Ace Seamaster (kit) - Enya 45
Lanier Seabird
GP Cap 231ex - Enya 60
Altech Super Stearman - OS 91 fs

I have a wide variety and will continue to take what others don't want. I had a third Aeromaster, my father has been flying it like crazy in Florida.

Boy, I feel like such a part-timer with only 4 planes, but then I am returning to the hobby after a 16 year hiatus.

Flying or Ready To Fly

Great Plane PT-E - My newest, only 16 years old and never flown.

Sig Kiwi - My Oldest! Only 22 years old and has a bunch of hours on it, and flying again! Have an O.S. 45FSR in it, also 22 years old and still running great!. Even the radio is that old, but narrow banded recently, Futaba 6FGK AM (Gold box)

Need a bit of work

Sig Kadet MkI - Major basket case. another legal adult! 21 years old.
Midwest Strikemaster - Need to actually finish it. Started that one about 16 years ago.

On top of all that, I am teaching my 5 year old how to fly with Realflight G2, he is doing quite well, can fly around and land most of the time.

Oh Such Fun!

Chuck......
