I have 4 flying, 1 "spare" that would only need radio gear and engine, and one kit that a good friend is going to build for me....also, 2 electrics.

    Honorable mention
    Goldberg Mirage 550 w/ a weird Graupner Speed 600/planetary gearbox, 8 cells and a 12x10 prop (!)
This is the plane I **finally** soloed on. Its a hand-me-hand-me-hand-me-down - it was given to me by the bloke that taught me to fly. He learned to fly with it; it was given to him by the bloke that taught him to fly. He learned to fly with it; it was given to him by the bloke that taught him who built and learned to fly with it!! whew! Its pretty ratty but I just can't throw away something with that much history.

Well, I do think it's time for me to take a census here on my planes anyways....I sometimes forget about a few of them...or leave them alone for a long time and come back to them and it's like having a new one all over again.

    Ready to fly:

    Goldberg Sukhoi
    GreatPlanes Extra300
    WM Zen50
    Midwest SuperHots
    PacificAeromodels Sukhoi
    GreatPlanes Decathlon
    Midwest Aerostar20
    Goldberg GentleLady

    On the table:

    Midwest Extra300
    WM Mustang (restoration)

    In the rafters:

    GreatPlanes Dazzler
    Hanger9 Edge540

    I know I've forgotten a few though...oh well. It's a start.

Hey, here's a tip for you guys that have those wives that say "why do you need so many planes??" (they think they all fly the same, don't they?) Just tell her that the more planes you have, the less often each one gets flown in the "rotation", therefore, the planes will last longer! It usually buys you enough time to buy a couple more.....he he
