Status: offline 		the way i do it is start with a very fine stone wheel to get your width angles... use it in the dead center so it eats on both sides evenly... then i work a rounding with a very small file to there is a good transition from the gasket ends to the opening... after you are satisfied with the shape i take the buffing wheel and white rouge buffing compound and buff it to a mirror finish but only on the transitions... try to leave the top to bottom alone so you dont get any leaks... that has given me the best results...

tip: start off small and try it out... then take out more and try it out... cuz if you take out too much the first time then you gotta get a new header... and always mirror polish your transitions so the exhaust runs smoothly... thats the key word in porting "smooth"
