all lightning pro parts will fit

some lightning pro2 part should fit

some kyosho parts should fit

first, i would get the differencial gear set from the k2 $6 times 3

the i would get a wing

and a set of tires for later, like knucles or crime fighters

you could get some wheels

and a wing mount

or a radio

and a better steering servo

its up to you

just break stuff and let the car tell u what it needs

Horizon Hobbies has a full line of Lightning Pro and RR parts. The problem is finding them. If you don't know the super secret partnumber conversion, you can't find squat. It's anoying.

I wrote this php page to help folks find the parts.

http://24.229.18.209/rc/lightningpro/hbparts.php

You can bookmark that if you like. The ip address is static so it won't disapear any time shortly, but it would be wise to download it from the link I made at the bottom.

This is a parts list:

http://www.hotbodiesonline.net/lightparts.htm

Lightning Pro part numbers end in a -1 or a -2.

EXAMPLE:
C8073 REAR SHOCK TOWER 6061 3mm (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8073-1 REAR SHOCK TOWER 7075 3mm (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8073-2 REAR SHOCK TOWER 7075 4mm (LIGHTNING SERIES) <- Lightning Pro Rear Shock Tower

I had that stuff on the page I wrote but incase people missed it.

To convert to from the RR to the Pro version:

C8075-2 FRONT SHOCK HOLDER 7075 4mm (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8073-2 REAR SHOCK TOWER 7075 4mm (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8077-1 REAR SUSPENSION HOLDER 7075 (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8078-1 FRONT SUSPENSION HOLDER 7075 (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8081-1 STEERING ARM L, R 7075 (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8104-1 FRONT SHOCK SET/RACING PAIR (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8105-1 REAR SHOCK SET LONG/RACING PAIR (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8116-1 ALUM. SUSPENSION HOLDER 6061 (0degree) (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8116-2 ALUM. SUSPENSION HOLDER 6061 (3degree) (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8120-1 ALUM. FRONT CHASSIS ANTI-BENDING ROD (LIGHTNING SERIES)
C8121-1 ALUM. REAR CHASSIS ANTI-BENDING ROD (LIGHTNING SERIES)

All the above Lightning Pro parts will fit your RR perfectly.

I just have to put in this link.
http://www.lightninghobby.com/store/index.asp

It is a very good link whit a lot of parts to all different cars and airplanes.
And by the way, to the Lightning pro I have to have my own radio and can anyone give there suggestion on a cheap radio.
I want to have a good radio that I can use a long time but the cheaper the better...
