I am not sure if I fully understand your question but I'll take a stab at it.

If you are just replacing your GS engine to another, you should not need additional (well, except engine mount if the GS engine is direct mounted) parts. Just make sure that the new engine you are buying have the same shaft configuration as the GS. If I am not mistaken, the GS engine is a standard threaded? If so, just buy an engine that is standard threaded. While at it, you might also inspect your clutch.

You see I've read in an article that someone have made this change and he replaced almost everything. This is too much but he is saying for some parts that with the power that the new motor has he sould replace them.

Take a look in this site.

Nice article. I cut and pasted his own writing

1. "So, if the new Landmax 2 is all these things, why change it? Because I can! Even though it comes out of the box as one of the premier bashers on the market, there's always room for improvement."

and 2. " I just wanted something different for “oohs and aahs” and maybe something with a little more beef to it. "

If it is true that everytime you put in a much powerful engine, you have to change things, then you would see many of us doing the same thing. What he said makes sense..."because he can"

Truly, you don't need all those just to add a more powerful engine.
