of course you know that we arent the only ones who would tune in to watch, how do you plan on including non-members of RCU, becasue there are a lot of people who arent memebers and would still watch, or willfully sign the petition if able
just a though.....

contact companies and ask them, if they r interested, to tell people to sign our petition via their website and mailing-list thing

I Hope this sure works, it would be great to wake up and watch rc racing on tv and get more people in to it. Or we can figure out how to make are own channel. (like RC Car Channel)

I also contacted SpikeTV, Discovery Channel, TLC (division of Discovery), TNT, TNN, and the Speed Channel. I am currently working on contacting major r/c companies such as HPI, Traxxas, etc. and editors at major r/c magazines.

Billyman has it right. If the networks thought they could make some jack from it, they would air a goat herding show. We could E-mail major distributors (Tower Hobbies, Horizon hobby, etc) and magazines and manufacturers and anyone else that would stand to see their profits grow from an increase in interest in the hobby. The gist is, it may take more than just a name from everybody. So lets fire up that E-mail and make enough noise to get some attention.
