glad to see even your age group joining us, and you picked an awesome truck, if you can buy a brushless system for them they kick butt in the emaxx's

It's never too old to start rc! I won't be upgrading to brushless though, not until my skills are up to par and when i intend to race, most likely i'll just bash.

Ok Now I feel old. I'm the oldest one on here.
Dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing???

Actually, I think that those of us in the 40+ club just aren't bragging about it.
I've been accused of being a teenager trapped in an adult body. Got my first job at 14 when I won a local modeling contest. The sponcering hobby store hired me to build model displays and do clinics. Best part was racing the rc's up and down the mall after closing time. hehehe
Oh man, that was a long time ago....

I'd just like to let you that I DO NOT get allowance. I earn my money respectively with a paper route . It sucks in a way but when I get my pay stubs at the end of the month, which by the way is $100, I keep doing it. Eventually I will be able to get hired at a store but they say I'm too young.

Whose laughing now?

Ha Ha I got a better job, scrapping out dog kennels. What do you expect though when you live on a farm.
