Status: offline 		Just to remind me please....Do I have to balance the position of the backplate when I use the 2" spinner with it's own backplate? It is for a BSE 50. Hope I explained the question okay. Regards, Andy Levy

When using a standard spinner such as a Tru-Turn or Dave Brown, or similar, it is usually not necessary to align the backplate in any special fashion, or specifically balance the spinner. The two mentioned are well made, and pretty well balanced already.

If you are using a JETT counterbalanced spinner (usually only used for QM40 engines) .......that is a differnt story. Instructions for Jett spinners are on the jettengineering.com website, and should have been provided with the spinner.
