    Yes I have the sr3000 and Im using the built in failsafe. To turn it off just rebind the receiver with the throttle in the neutral position. I asked spektrum about using aftermarket failsafes with the built in one and they said it would be fine.

    thanks keith sorry for being a pain in the rear lol. I e mailed spectrum about a week ago about that and they didnt reply. Is there much difference between the dx 3.0 and the dx 3R?

    Never a problem. Thats whats great about these forums, we can all learn from each other.
    Im not really sure. I think the 3R is geared more towards serious racing. It has more settings and is much more expensive. It uses the same receivers as the Dx2 and DX3. I think they have a new receiver coming out soon though,.
