I read in some form that if you use Marval Mystery Oil in your fuel it will make it last a lot longer and with lower running temps, but if you do use it only put in 1 or 2 drops per tank

Another fail safe idea is take a small rubber band (childrens' hair bands) and put them over the ball stud on the end of the slide carb and around the air filter opening. this will pull the carb shut with low batteries.

To get a new look on your wheels you can use oven cleaner to get the fake crome stuff off and then Dye them any color you want.

I made mine Red.

I used RIT dye

you can also do this to Servo Savers and Bumpers or almost anything that is white if you clean it.

Here's a pic but its not mine

Next time you strip your truck down spray the stock chasis, if you still have one, with Easy off oven cleaner, let it soak 10-20 minutes and rinse. You can you a green scuff pad to remove the rest of the anodization. When its just ugly aluminum get you a can of Never Dull in the auto/boat section of Wal-Mart and polish away. It takes about three hours and some elbo grease but you will get a mirror like finish. for under $10.00.

That actually sounds like a great idea, but I'm not really up to take everything apart. I just finished installing a new engine and some other stuff.
