Marcus ... it will be the Saito 72, coming in from down south next month ... its cheaper from there. I did not want to go for the Saito 82 cause that is just too much power for your average 40 sized plane. I think the Funtana will only fly in about 2 months time. I am still doing my best to milk the most out of that Kuda Hitam SU31.

Seems that old man Wong is bringing in the 120 sized SU31, that would be fun. Cheap and big!!!

I've got my OMP Yak 54 + YS 63 from them very easy to deal with. At the same time I ordered the AFP Pro sim. The order was done at OMP website on their LIVE CHAT. Dion Cini took care of my order. No hassle great service and support.

Marcus let us know how much postage for the Hybrid (or do you get staff price from the company you work for? )

Gagak,

Which yak? 47, 65, 72, 79? How much did it cost for postage? Tax?

Well, John Drake replied my email and quoted USD 275 for freight for the Hybrid. I wrote back to him and asked more questions, other possible methods of shipping.

i am tooooooo lazy to scratch the 85" FF....maybe MUCH later.

tianci, 82 would be VERY good on the Funtana. How much are you paying for it? If you still want a 72, I could sell mine.

Regards
Marcus

Not the big Yak. It was the combo with YS63FZ, 47" span. Paid US$34.95 just like they quote it for shipping. As for tax, the custom officers over here look it under TOYS 10% plus 5%....or is it the other way around. Luckily they did not see the engine. It seems for motor the tax is higher.

So much for "MODEL AIRCRAFT KIT ACCESSORIES" .

Just some food for thought ... recently over the last few weeks I have seen one crash a week, sometimes up to three. Usually new flyers who have not mastered a trainer and now want to fly low wing planes. Why am I bringing this up? Just something for us to consider in terms of safety and also on how we want to organise this hobby of ours i.e. cowboy vs. disciplined.

When I started out again after a 20 year break I was most fortunate to have a friend who would accompany me to fly every morning for a couple of months. He taught me everything step
