Its time to go to JB again!!! Fly ... Food ... Friends ...

I am thinking 21 and 22 March ... if the weather holds well for the week. Xman ... get your Dago Red ready ... Heheheheehehee ...

James ... what have you flown before and what are you flying? Let's start there. Small warbirds made of foam are not floaters ok. The GWS P 51 is pretty scale in flight, she will tip stall on you. If you are unsure what tip stall is, don't go listening to people who say its when one wing drops before the other because you did not balance the wings! Hahahahahaahahaa ... remember that one Xman?

Xman ... my Viper got small small engine, your Dago Red got RP engine and kena dremmel already! I know your plane is fast ok ... my Viper on a TT46 is about 90-95 mph level flight. With the Rossi 53 I hope to touch 110 mph.

Just install an engine/motor twice the recommended size, and she will never tip stall...hahahaha....

My Dago is not as streamline as yours la..... 30~35% of the engine power is wasted on aerodynamic drag.... so, the power is more or less equivalent to a 40 sized engine. Still lose to your Ross 53 la....

James, get a 40 sized engine trainer with some dihedral or slight up wards tilted wings, it should be something easy to start with.... all of us have been in this stage before.. and also some one at your flying field to guide you.... rc plane, wheather electric or nitro is a potential deadly weapon if you do not use it as intended...

Xman ... pass me your Dago Red, I will shorten the wings and more. You can get much more speed! I hope to see you on 21/22 March. I think Stuffed Wantan will come also, this time take him for more nasi briyani gam ok.

James ... from your reply you seem to say that you have only flown a trainer in a simulator. Is that so? If that is so then why waste your time coming here to ask for advise? I think you should go out and buy a jet like say the F104 Startfighter with a P120 turbine and fly that. It will be so much more exciting really. I guess there is no point trying to learn how to fly and just jump into the deep end ok.

Let me know where you are flying and we will not be there ...

Getting a F3A plane first??..... Now this is getting interesting.... ....

James, You should get a 2mX2m fully composite F3A like the astral XXX to start with.... and a YZ170 dingo... will be easier to fly....

and Hopes nobody dies from it........

James ... if you think you can handle it then go for it. You can try that GWS Formosa copy. The GWS Formosa does fly nice.
