Hi,
I have a Yak-54, there are hard points in the fuse to screw the
landing gear into, ( drill holes thru, to bolt them on).
The landing gear length is not long enough to hit both blocks in
the fuse. And it's to late to put a wider blocks in the fuse since it's
already sheeted.

Will this be suffeceint to only hit one of the blocks or do,
I have the wrong gear?
There still the ply doublers on both sides, so this should help the one
that won't go thru the hardpoint.
It is the gear that came with the kit.

Appreciate your input.

Thanks,
dave hauch

If this is an early OMP YAK 54, I think I know what the problem is.
Send me a direct e-mail or call Mike P. (at OMP).
Also, may need your mailing address.

It will work if you installed the blocks in the right place. I had to drill my holes almost all the way into the "bend" and very close to the top end of the tetherite plastic gear. It will work but they should make the gear longer at the top or change the plans and have you move the blocks closer together
