Does anyone know if Hal Debolt's Jenny, P-shooter and Acrobat Bipe shared the same components (ex. fuse, stab fin/rudder, wing etc.). I have the plans for the Jenny which was a shoulder wing design. The pictures of the Acrobat and P-shooter look like similar fuselage and wing shape. They all were released around the same time early 1960's I believe. If anyone can provide a picture of the Acrobat showing the Top wing attachment I would appreciate it and maybe a side view showing the distance between the wings and the offset and CG - location. If what I stated above is correct as to the shared components I may want to try to Build an Acrobat bipe using the Jenny plans as a start.

Better yet. If you know a plans source for the Acrobat please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Stan,
Wrote this once and promptly lost it!
Kits mentioned composed the first quick build type. All parts were ready
for assembly which could take less than 24 hours,
In general portions of crafts were not interchangable, style and some
like airfoils were.
The Acrobat top wing wa attached with "Camlocs" allowing quick and easy
asembly with no rubber bands.
A kit would be a distinct asset with assembly.
Plans for all dmeco C/L and R/C kits are available from>

Good luck and have fun!

I just read this post and I believe that a man by the name of Don Blackburn was De Bolts draftsman on many of the old kits. He lives in Amarillo, Texas 806-622-1657.
