I've got a quarter scale plane that will be gas powered.
I need a battery for the receiver. I might as well go lithium since I already have a charger for lithium.
I've previously purchased a 3600mah from Powerflite, but don't want to spend $100 on this battery. I need about 2000mah.

Who sells reasonably priced lithiums?

By the way, I don't think I'm looking for Lipoly b/c I don't need extreme high discharge rate (I understand those are for electric planes).

I've got most of my lithium packs from bishop power or AllERC, 1500's work great and can sustain current draws well above what you will ever see. (plus only about $30) Allerc has a sale on 2s2p 1200 packs, so that would give you 2400mah for $42. you will need a voltage regulator though for those...

I saw you mentioned not going lipo, it might actually be easier to find those packs, lots of e-flyers use them for many models. (I fly micro heli, I just use my 1200 and 1500's in my other glow/gas planes also)
