Status: offline 		I always thought it was derived from the fishing term, to troll for fish. Someone who throws something out there just to see if they can get some bites whether they believe what they say or not. Just looking to start an argument or get attention.

Occasionally I have been accused of being a troll however, I am sincere in my opinions.
