Speaking of instructions, when I was assembling my Mirage I glued on the clear plastic wash-out tabs on the wrong side of the wing so it became wash-in!

I only found this out before the test flight but I still decided to go ahead, had up elevator all the way!!!

Had a go this morning, was all over the shop . Decided to practise one bit at a time, and in the process have killed my Capiche .

This could get expensive...

From the guys who have flown there b4, can a 40% model be flown from the site?? Just trying to decide what to get for the comp. I know ali has flown his extra there a few years ago, so hopefully i will use mine, maybe with a 2m as a backup.

Thanks

Andy

Just had a quick read through the RCM&E article in todays issue, May 2004.

September 5th? Thats my b day lol, so I can probably come down if I wanted to. That said, I might just enter but I'd lose miserably 'cause I don't know 3D and wouldn't have enough time to get good at it.

Still a bit confused over rebound rolls and flat somethings....

My application should be in the post on Tuesday

Now all I have to do is build a plane or two, learn the sequence, and practise more 3D flying!

Trouble is my fleet is not doing well at the moment, engine trouble on my Funmaster (hopefully now fixed) and managed to rip the undercarriage off my GP extra .

Just to confirm, the round to music is for us Advanced fliers as well as the Ulimited guys? Think I need to sort out some music .

Do we know what format the music can be in yet? I hope minidisc is ok, though I doubt it .

Have you seen the seduction stremaline? looks really nice and from the vid it seems to fly well but that cowl is just ugly! take a look at it sprink as you capiche bit the dust you may like somting like this.

I would have got RCME today but i realised its Good Friday! aaaah. never mind, ill get it tommorow. Then i needd my B but i have to travell 30-40 miles to another club to get it done then i can fill out my W&W fling slot thingy then i can fly there!

I need the B too, but as Ian would know, not alot of people exactly like me right now, and its anybodys guess where the next damned club is.

Welsh 3D: Really? Thats amazing! Gosh then I reckon I could have a smack at it but I won't have a 3D capable model until Sandown and then a month to get it done and other things so....

I will have to bodge it with a Ready2 and hope for no more radio and interference problems....

Robert, you coming over for the Comp? Bit far for one day I know but the more the merrier.

Music - not sure, probably something classical.

Definately thinking of getting the Streamline at some point. But as I'm sort of building time between now and the summer, I'm thinking of getting the Groove and the YT Adrenaline to get me in the air and practising. Will probably sell them after the comp, once I have something else to build and play with.

Errr 5th 2004 Ian.,,,which is my b day which means maybe some stuff but I don't really care about my b day too much.

I got quite a nice amount cash today so I might be able to buy some decent 3D stuff at Sandown.

Hey Sprink. I'm thinking of going this year but its a little tight as I have my debs for school at the end of August, and I'm going to the Italian grand prix on the 7th, but I will talk to my parential advisors and see what I can do.
Hey Nath did you/are you going to get a Funtana PRO?

I'm thinking of a funtana pro, i say thinking tho.... Ive got a good mate who lives in Bray NR. Dublin and he says that you guys get 3 months summer hols! god ur lucky What will you fly in? adv or unlimited?

quote:

Music - not sure, probably something classical.

BORING! but i suppose if its you type of music, go ahead

Ive listened to the chili peppers album 'by the way' and there seems to be some quite good stuff on there. Next time o go flying I'm going to use my CD player and a few Cd's to practice to, at the moment I'm using a stick plane and thinking up routines to go with the music. Some of its not easy, try the metallica song 'battery' lol. That'd be mad. I hope nobody's going to fly to rap or drum and base or dance or R&B or anything like that. id shoot em out of the sky!

What is everyone thinking of flying to? I'm considering -the doors 'riders on the storm'- or some sort of -led zeppelin- song, even the chillies 'under the bridge'???

Also looked at the schedule, seems OK but theres a few things i don't get, tho, if i practice them for real I'm hoping ill have a better understanding. The Sim isn't good for this sort of up down up down style of flying.

Ian

Yeah we get 3 months, and this is my last year at school. I won't fly, I'm not good enough yet, haven't been flying enough lately. I have an MK acro Z which is a bundle of laughs and I am nearly finished the WideBody 60 which should be great, so maybe in 2005?

nath any pictures of your 2m design yet?
