Here is a picture of an aluminum shock tower that i have been working on.

I should be able to test its durability by the weeks end.

jetphyxr looks like to many holes you shoulint had driled so many you are going to loose strength in the middle.

I was just trying to make it as light as possible. In theory though, the mass is still
there it has just been spread out. But I have the same feeling you do.(rcpro-123) It will almost certainly break with the first 6 foot drop. Thanks for the input though.

I have another one that i should be able to finish tonight at work.

It looks more like an X. But it still has 10 mounting positions.

I should have them both tested by the weekend. I have had some difficulty finding
the proper fasteners. (I beefed them up to 3/16 stainless machine screws)

I am also making some custom skids out of .040 titanium. They are going to be sweet,
they tie into the bumper mounts and are paper light. Will post pictures of them soon.
