I have a bb conv tmaxx with rob racing gears in them and I keep blowing diffs and the 1st and 2nd speed spur gear in the trans, are you having the same problom. and I forgot i have rob racing diffs also

has any1 ever made a front wheel drive truck. sounds silly i know just wondering seeing as people have made everythin else. as for the four engined idea, how about just a revo or maxx with an engine for each wheel, engines arranged in a straight line inthe middle....erm....spose thats not really an idea just a very vague suggestion. anyway this is interesting so i'll think hard...

I blew out the rear diff in one of my Savages (with a Collari .30), so I ran front wheel drive for a week or so. It was awful... The tires spun everywhere and the traction was horrible on the grass (the tires just keep spinning). There is no weight in the front so there is no point to it.

i did sorta the same thing, but it was my rear drive shaft i blew in my t maxx, and yea, no traction. A front wheel drive truck that was built from scratch would be a good convo peice, but not much of a performer, would be different to see tho.

spose when you accelerete the weight gets spread to the back anyway as the truck kinda leans back, so yea would b lame. Try doing a 4 engined revo though, just pure power

Well I thought this thread was dead, so I havn't checked it in a while. Seems insanity lives on! Thanks again for all the support. I havn't really worked on this stuff in a awhile, but I started working on a 10 wheel semi chassis 6X6 (or 10X10 as it works out). Well, I'm back to answer all of your questions, so let'em fly. As far as the 3 engine Maxx, it has all steel gears in the trans, and I found a guy on Ebay that makes the 2 driven gears out of aluminum. The diffs are aluminum with steel racing gears, and I havn't had a problem yet. Granted, this truck isn't thrashed on a regular basis. Finally, on the front wheel drive, check out my video earlier in this thread. I snapped the rear shaft and kept running it, the front tires will never be the same! Also, there was a guy running 3 engines in a row, but I never heard anything about it again. Thanks again!
