Looks sturdy. That's what Rob B in my local indoor club did with his Edge front end after his mount was ripped out.

Just one more shot. This building is available for lease, I have estimated yearly expenses to be between 40 to 60K complete. I am not sure if there is enough interest in the area to generate the funds needed to make this a viable entity. I am finding a few interested people who are in favor of aquiring this building. This site is best for people on the eastern half of NJ. It is with in a 1 hour drive of Long Beach Island, NYC, and Six Flags Great Adventure.

Here's a photo of Vertical ts hovering in the Kmart parking lot tonight.
We flew under the lights in light wind with our local hobby guy KKK.
Kareful Kenny K. He was doing some textbook flat turns and starting to learn how to hover. I made some amazing saves and earned the new nick name Lunch Box. Kenny was lighting em up at the castle. gonna need some extra bleach in the whites on laundry day Mrs. K.

You guys gotta try flying under the lights. It's fun to climb up into the dark and loose site of your plane for a few seconds. Plus, winds are usually lighter at night.

Those ruins look like a building in a quarry where I mountain bike. I have often thought of flying in there, except I'd need to bike in my plane (fragile).

I agree on the night flying. Once I get back from my 2 week vacation, I'll get more time to explore. There is a great shopping center around the corner from me with 50 foot high lights.

There is an empty warehouse in that complex with 24' ceilings. I haven't gotten in yet but I have a contact in the industrial park now. He is going to hook me up with the property owner. If I can get a nice enough spot I'm going to start having indoor meets and fly-ins.
Syracuse isn't that far from the Jersey Shore.
To boost attendance I'm going to hire strippers for a half time floor show. We can also do tail touches on their implants.

I've heard of the tail touch, balloon bust, tail touch balloon bust, and now we're gonna have the tail to bust touch.

Yes, I can see attendance will be very high.

Regarding hinges, I've not ever had a problem with the scotch tape method recommended. I used the tape provided in the kit, and it's survived well so far for me. Be sure to bevel the foam aileron and leave a tiny gap that's big enough for the deflection you want (45-50 degrees). Crease the tape down tightly into the bottom "V" of the hinge as well.

some guys are ironing the tape down a little to smooth it out and get it to stick better, but I didn't find that necessary yet. The tape they give you is pretty good, although it looks like common scotch tape (the shiny tuff, not the "invisible" stuff that looks frosty for gift wrap.

i usually just apply the tape, then when im all done,i hit it with an iron a 200,works well for me,also,at the 200 degree mark,i can get most of the warps out by heating and bending the foam, hope this helps

almost forgot to congradulate whack,or should i say lunch box.I try to calm him down in flight because he gets a lil crazy,so while he landing,i comment and say, come on,make this a good one.So what does he do.Lunch box rolls inverted, and lands upside down just to show off. What a guy!!!

For any of you guys that fly at night, lets see a picture your parking lot's.It would be interesting to see what type of lighting you are flying under.I have grown to like the amber light because i feel that they are a little softer on my eyes.I will post a pic of our lot in a few days

Hey guys, do you use prop adapters for your motors? I am getting an AXI for the shockflyer and I don't know what to get for a prop mount. I saw the one on hobby lobby, where you rubber-band the prop on. Any suggestions?
