Interesting, looks like you've got the new style model with the old color scheme, didn't know it was was manufactured this way. I'll be interested in the weight when completed because I have a blue/yellow one I haven't got in the air yet.

That's depressing Lil Chinky b0i, very heavy. What motor & gear have you got in it? I was hoping to get mine down to 4kg with a TT120RP & pipe.

Hi Gregor,
I hope to have in in the air in December after our Pattern Flying Season finishes. I've got most of the bits for it now, just waiting on a Hyde mount and then I'll be good to go! I had a Dubro vibration reducing mount on it but wasn't very happy as the airframe still shook a fair bit and I found that the front end of the fuze pulled away from the base after about 50 flights, hopefully the Hyde mount will reduce this effect on the new Adrenaline.

My full setup will be:
TT120RP & pipe(Dave Brown Hush Clamp on pipe to reduce vibration).
Hitec digital servos (HS81MG throttle, HS6635 Elev & Aileron, HS6865 Rudder)
JR RS10DS Rx (10 ch dual conv, synth), 2000mah 6.0V NiMH
CF wing tube & gear

I'm still hoping the weight will be a lot less than 4.6kg. My 2M Pattern Plane comes out at 4.8kg and it's powered by a 140Rx.

I didn't like the originals so I replaced with Sig Easy Hinges. They have been great, no breakages and they are well priced..

Hej Twoturnspin,

How did You get the engine and header in place as whit the rear ported engine the header doesn't fit this plane??

An xtra sillicone hose to get lower or just reweld the header?

Thanx.

Hi Gregor,

I haven't got the engine and pipe into my new Adrenaline as yet. The pipe and header fitted in fine in my red/white Adrenaline so I was hoping that it would be able to be mounted in the new airframe without modifcation. My Hyde mount has arrived but I won't be able to get back to the installation for a couple of weeks. If the header doesn't fit I will probably rebend the header to fit rather than re-weld or use extra silicon hose.

Hyde mount looks sensational, I will be really interested to see ow it runs in the plane over the Christmas period.

All the best, Twoturnspin
