I work at the UPS airhub, and the 727s I see are different than the ones in the pictures. UPS 727s must have the roll royce jets.

They are called 727QF's (Quiet Freighters) w/ RR engines!

i just watched a 727-200 take off now. I work at KPSM in new hampshire, i see them take off and land all day. Pan-Am is based here, that's pretty much the only aircraft they use. There is a 727 bone yard just down the ramp. about 7 or so dead 72's with missing engines, tails, noses, whatever, just to keep the 6 or so they have in service.
